Robert (Bob) Sutherland
Bob was an only child and grew up in Edmonton. He and his lifelong partner and dauntless supporter, Daurel, raised three children, Jim, Francis and Patti.Bob loved adventure in all its forms. When the backcountry was opening up for skiing, he helped discover a wide swath of powder ski runs in the mountains of Western Canada. He would tell humorous stories of these escapades. On one ski expedition, he was the only one to bring toilet paper. His newfound popularity was short-lived as the leader expropriated the entire roll for the ''good of the group.''
