Your Favourite Word

Never mind colours, what's your favourite word?

Apparently I am the only Canadian who waited agog for the winner of Sir Bob Geldof's Search for the Nation's Favourite Word, the contest that sent Britain into a competitive fever this fall. I try to keep up with the obsessions of other nations: The Italians with leather footwrap, the Serbs with their recent defeat by the Turks in 1389, the plucky Norwegians with their beloved krone, the Americans with money in all its manifestations.
