Edmonton -- Désirée McGraw laments the apparent confusion in the federal policy toward ratifying Kyoto and attributes this confusion to a failure of policymakers to ask "the right question" (How Fast Should We Go On Kyoto? -- Oct. 22).
Okay, should Canada pursue policies that will result in simultaneous increases in inflation and unemployment to curtail greenhouse-gas emissions that represent only 2 per cent of the world's total?
Was that the right question? Even if it is the wrong question, I would dearly love to see Ms. McGraw answer it.
