Montreal -- There's a huge blank human canvas out there for tattoo artists and body piercers, a new poll suggests.

Eighty-two per cent of 1,529 people polled by Leger Marketing said they have no tattoos or piercing on their bodies.

Seven per cent had a piercing, 6 per cent had a tattoo and another 5 per cent had both.

Results of the poll, conducted from Dec. 3 to Dec. 8, is considered accurate within 2.5 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. CP
