The good soldier - now there's a concept

The U.S. will go to war with Iraq, if only because Junior Bush wants to so very badly, end of story.Normally we expect wars to have a point and a highly important one at that, and this one doesn't, but fine. I run down my personal columnar list of war worries: Civilian deaths, the expansion of warfare throughout the Middle East, the outcome of exciting Saudi elections (oooh, will it be a Fahd or a Fahd this time), the paucity of Canadian tanks that so worries U.S. ambassador Paul Cellucci (I suppose I could knit one for him, with a toilet paper tube for a little turret gun), the destruction of the sublime Assyrian sculptures in the ancient Iraqi city of Nimrud, and um, something's missing from the list.
