Bar codes show class
If there is anything in science that is classic, it is the division of things into classes, known as taxonomy. You know, Linnaeus with his species, families, kingdoms, etc.And it's not far-fetched to say the basic concept underlying taxonomy is as elementary as: If it barks and wags its tail, it's a dog, but if it barks and claps its flippers, it's a seal. That is, things are different if they look different.
