Canadian homes found ahead of U.S. for high-speed Net

Canada's high-speed Internet service providers have been far more successful than their U.S. counterparts in signing up residential customers, a study to be released Monday says.According to comScore Media Metrix Canada, which measures Internet use in both countries, more than 53 per cent of Canada's 17 million Internet users use high-speed or broadband Internet service, but just 34 per cent of the 145 million U.S. Internet users use a broadband service.
