Health care takes flight

For residents of the remote Kivalliq region of central Nunavut, Penny Triggs, RN, and her 12 fellow nurses seem like true angels of mercy. They arrive by air to provide nursing care, transporting the ill to places where they can be treated. Ms. Triggs is a flight nurse and manager of medical services for Keewatin Air of Winnipeg.
