Yukos case raises doubt

MOSCOW -- The speed at which Mikhail Khodorkovsky's life changed -- one moment he was sitting on his private jet, a few hours later he was in a crowded prison cell -- is a lesson for all investors in Russia, observers said yesterday, and a demonstration that 12 years after the fall of Communism, the country still doesn't have an independent and effective court system.
