God bless the enduring political cluelessness of Canadian business. Time and time again, the geniuses who thought they could make Stockwell Day prime minister hatch frightening schemes for self-enrichment at public expense only to blow themselves up sky high with success in sight, victims of an always volatile mixture of equal parts arrogance and naiveté.
