The Canadian Recording Industry Association is on the verge of going to war against piracy. Last month it was in court petitioning for an order to obtain the on-line identities of a list of music file-sharers, effectively announcing its decision to target a few high-volume downloaders and sue them for copyright infringement. Following the lead of the U.S. industry (which caught a 12-year-old in its dragnet), CRIA's strategy is to make an example of a group of 29 "flagrant infringers." Who will they be?
