Withdraw slowly from pills that affect the brain

A woman in her 40s ran out of Paxil and came to the walk-in psychiatric clinic where I work. She said she took her last pill three days ago and was already having "that awful feeling that I want to crawl out of my skin." She felt the same way when she went to visit her daughter at Christmas and didn't take along enough pills.
