Drop birth place from Canadian passports: official
Federal Privacy Commissioner George Radwanski is calling on the federal government to drop place of birth from Canadian passports saying recent events have shown that the practice can have "negative and unfair" consequences. "This information is not only irrelevant since a Canadian citizen is a Canadian citizen, without distinction.
