Did you read the one about the pet lizards that ate their owner?

NEW YORK -- Who says there's no such thing as happy news?Why, just last week we heard the uplifting tale of Skittles the cat, a two-year-old orange tabby whose owners had lost him on vacation somewhere in Wisconsin five months ago. But don't despair. "With raw paws and protruding ribs," read a breathless Associated Press report, Skittles showed up 140 days later on the doorstep of his owner's home in Hibbing, Minn., 560 kilometres away from where he'd last been seen. "After a lot of eating and cat-napping," the story concluded, "Skittles has settled into his old routines, including playing with his feline friend Yum-Yum."
