Canadians defeat Finns in world championship

Edmonton -- Danielle Hobday of Oakbank, Man., had two goals as Canada beat Finland 3-1 on Saturday to reclaim the gold medal at the world ringette championship. Edmonton's Megan Todd had the other goal for Canada, which lost 4-3 to Finland in overtime in the 2000 final. "We knew we could do it," said Toronto goalie Keely Brown, who was the player of the game for Canada.
