U.S.-bashing MP apologizes again
OTTAWA -- Liberal MP Carolyn Parrish apologized yesterday for the second time in as many days for her anti-American outburst, as her government rushed to stanch the damage.The antiwar MP from Mississauga made a terse statement in the House of Commons, saying she regretted her remarks and that she had apologized to U.S. Ambassador Paul Cellucci.
