Bombing error kills 17 peshmerga
SULAYMANIYAH, IRAQ -- Seventeen Kurdish peshmerga militiamen, fighting alongside U.S. soldiers, and a Kurdish translator working for the BBC were killed by a U.S. fighter plane yesterday afternoon in a mistaken bombing near the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
