Lord of the Rings cleans up

Patience rewarded was the message of the 76th Oscars, where The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, the third film in the hugely successful series, finally broke through, sweeping all 11 awards for which it was nominated, tying the records set by Ben Hur and Titanic as the most garlanded film in Oscar history.
