Spreading blaze forces 150 to flee northern Alberta town
EDMONTON -- An encroaching wildfire fanned by high winds forced an emergency evacuation last night of 150 residents of a hamlet north of Edmonton.Candace Revega of the County of Thorhild said the flames were just three kilometres from Newbrook.
