B.C. Ferries eyeing fare discounts for island residents
VICTORIA -- To counter waves of discontent from local customers, B.C. Ferries is considering introducing a reduced fare for residents who travel to and from their island homes.David Hahn, B.C. Ferries president and CEO, "said we'll look at it," spokeswoman Deborah Marshall said yesterday. "But there are no immediate plans to implement it."
