Stupid White Men Britain's book of the year

Michael Moore's Stupid White Men scooped up Britain's Book of the Year Award Monday beating out Yann Martel's Life of Pi. An autobiography by Manchester United star Roy Keane was among those shortlisted for the award. Keane's best-selling autobiography was considered the favourite because its sales were the strongest in Britain, but Moore's antiwar polemic won based on a mix of voting by readers and the opinions of a panel of judges from the publishing industry.
