Toronto Superstar Celine Dion will lend her expertise to a group of wannabes competing for the crown of Canadian Idol.
Dion will be part of an upcoming Top 10 episode themed around love songs, CTV announced Friday.
For the episode, Canadian Idol producers will take the show to Las Vegas where competitors will visit the Quebec-born singer on the set of her production A New Day.
"Canadian musical talent is unparalleled on the planet," Dion said in a statement. "I'm thrilled to play my part in bringing Canada's next music superstar to the world stage."
The show's producers said Dion will be one of "several major headline attractions" to be part of the series.
The final member of the Top 10 group of finalists will be selected next week. From there the show will begin broadcasting live on Aug. 4 from Toronto's John Bassett Theatre in front of a studio audience.
Tickets for the tapings are on sale through Ticketmaster for $5 each.
