Andy Scott beating worries N.B. gays
Worried that the weekend beating of federal MP Andy Scott heralds a growing intolerance, gays in New Brunswick are planning to hold a vigil Friday, the same day that his alleged attacker will appear in court.
The alleged assailant had previously been vocal in his denunciation of same-sex marriage, leading some to liken Mr. Scott's assault to a gay-bashing.
