Autopsy being done on toddler found dead

Canadian Press

Brantford, Ont. — An autopsy is being done Tuesday on the body of a toddler found dead in a car in his family's driveway.

Brantford Police Staff Sergeant David Wiedrick says police are treating Noah Gaudet's death as mysterious.

However, Sgt. Wiedrick says there's nothing to indicate foul play at this time.

The two-year-old's body was discovered by his mother last night after she reported him missing.

The boy was last seen playing in the front yard of his Brantford home with another youngster.

Sgt. Wiedrick says three detectives are working on the case and are waiting to hear back about the autopsy results.
